Prashanth Karthi is happy with the response to his film

Many films are now directly released on OTT platforms, and ‘Pothugadda’ is one of them released in ETV Win recently. Directed by Raksha Veeram, the film is getting good response. Prashanth Karthi, who plays a character with different shades, expressed his happiness over the appreciation his role is receiving.
“Initially, the director asked me to grow my beard and also sport long hair. But for some reason, I had to remove the hair. So, I thought I lost this role. But after a few days I got a call from director Raksha, who had seen my original look and decided to go with it. So, my appearance in this film is very natural,” said Prashanth Karthi about his role.
The actor said that he is getting positive response from everywhere for his role in it. “I got appreciation for my performance which has different shades in it,” said the actor. Though he is getting a lot of messages, when people like Chandra Siddharth and Chandrashekar Yeleti appreciate his acting, it is something special for him. He also revealed that most of the film was shot in the nights and that too in winter. “But, we never felt uncomfortable as we had taken care of everything,” said Prashanth. Talking about his upcoming projects he said, “I am working on a film with a Rayalaseema backdrop. It is an action drama and I will reveal more details soon,” said Prashanth.
