A large number of BJP activists took out a rally in Adoni town on Saturday to celebrate the party’s victory in the Delhi Assembly elections.
The rally, led by MLA Parthasarathi, saw BJP workers holding party flags and distributing sweets. Addressing the gathering, MLA Parthasarathi expressed confidence that the BJP would win Assembly elections in various States in the coming days.
He asserted that the people of Delhi had reposed faith in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, giving a clear mandate.
In Kadapa, BJP activists, led by district president Venkata Subba Reddy, took out a similar rally. Party workers burst crackers and distributed sweets. Speaking on the occasion, Venkata Subba Reddy said the BJP’s welfare schemes had impressed voters in Delhi, leading to the party’s victory.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel Bhupatiraju Srinivasa Varma thanked the voters of Delhi for the BJP’s landslide victory. In a statement issued from his camp office in Bhimavaram on Saturday, he congratulated BJP workers for their efforts in securing the win. He asserted that the people of Delhi had shown confidence in the BJP’s governance and had rejected the corruption of the Arvind Kejriwal-led government.
