Minister Kandula Durgesh has urged the people of East and West Godavari districts to ensure the resounding victory of Perabathula Rajasekhar, the alliance candidate for the MLC election. He announced that Rajasekhar will file his nomination on February 10. Speaking at a meeting held at the JanaSena Party office in Eluru on Sunday, Durgesh called on alliance leaders to work diligently for Rajasekhar’s success.
The minister highlighted that the alliance government is committed to generating employment for the youth through tourism and industrial development. He expressed happiness over the BJP’s historic victory in the Delhi elections, stating that people across the country are increasingly supporting coalition governments. He urged graduate voters to back Rajasekhar, asserting that the alliance government has laid the foundation for significant progress in the coming five years. He criticised the previous government for failing to fulfil its job creation promises and urged voters to trust the coalition, which has already initiated the DSC process to provide employment.
Durgesh, who is a member of the cabinet sub-committee on employment generation, stated that the committee is working towards creating job opportunities in both government and private sectors. He reiterated the government’s commitment to creating 20 lakh jobs in the state over the next five years through industrial and tourism development.
The minister emphasised that Rajasekhar would serve as the people’s voice in the Legislative Council and play a key role in ensuring government welfare schemes reach the youth. He criticised the previous government for its lack of development initiatives and reminded the public that it was reduced to just 11 seats, showing its disconnect with the people.
Durgesh concluded by expressing confidence in the coalition government’s long-term success, asserting that it will remain in power for the next 30 years. He urged the people to support Rajasekhar in the MLC election, stating that his victory would pave the way for development and welfare in the region.
