Manchu Manoj speaks out on police custody reports, denies wrongdoing

Must read

Actor Manchu Manoj has finally addressed the recent rumors that claimed he was taken into police custody on Monday. In a video statement, Manoj expressed his frustration with the crisis he has faced while standing up for causes he deeply believes in.
Manchu Manoj began by referring to the ongoing challenges he has faced over the past few months, starting from December 2024. “You have seen what’s been happening these last few months,” Manoj said. “I have been fighting for the students and people working at our college. Instead of addressing the issue, my family and I have been targeted. Numerous attempts have been made to indirectly threaten me in hopes that I’ll be scared. But I haven’t done anything wrong to be afraid.”
The actor revealed that around 32 cases have been filed against him and his wife from various places, including Delhi, Tirupati, and other regions. He continued, “There’s only one version of the truth, and numerous versions of lies. I stand by what I’ve said before. My family is being accused of using bouncers to intimidate college students and others. I have provided all the evidence to Chandragiri CI.”
Manchu Manoj further clarified the situation, explaining that he went to the police station voluntarily. “Those trying to file complaints against me are being sent back for trivial reasons. Last night, the police came to question us at the resort we were staying at, claiming they were sent by the CM. But when I questioned them, their story changed. They said they were done with the CM’s work and I had misunderstood the situation. I decided to go to the station willingly because I wanted everything on record,” he explained.
Manchu Manoj also described how he waited at the police station, but no one seemed interested in questioning him. “If something like this can happen to me, just imagine the struggles of those I’m fighting for,” he added.
