AP Assembly Budget session from today

Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu held a crucial meeting on Sunday with Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy and Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta to review arrangements for the 47th Legislative Council session and the third session of the 16th Legislative Assembly.
Key decisions taken at the meeting include the mandatory presence of all members in the Assembly by 9:30 AM on the day of the Governor’s address. Passes for personal assistants (PAs) of MLAs and officials will not be issued during the budget session to limit access to the Assembly premises. Members have been urged to cooperate with this directive.
Visitors and delegates seeking to meet the Chief Minister will not be permitted inside the Assembly premises and are advised to arrange meetings at his office instead. The Speaker stressed the need for strict security measures during the sessions and directed officials to implement stringent protocols, urging all parties to cooperate with the police department.
Following the meeting, Speaker Patrudu personally inspected the media point and the newly constructed canteen.
