Kannappa teaser: Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and others promise a grand spectacle

The much-awaited teaser of Kannappa is finally out, offering a visual spectacle packed with action, devotion, and high-stakes drama. The teaser features an ensemble of big stars, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal, alongside Vishnu Manchu and Mohan Babu.
Akshay Kumar takes on the divine role of Lord Shiva, while Prabhas appears as Rudra, promising an intense and visually stunning experience. Vishnu Manchu leads as Thinnadu, a fearless warrior who embarks on a journey of ultimate devotion to Lord Shiva. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Kajal Aggarwal and Preity Mukhundhan, adding more star power to the film. Shot extensively in the lush forests of New Zealand, Kannappa offers breathtaking visuals, blending mythology with cutting-edge action sequences and emotional storytelling.
Director Mukesh Kumar Singh described Kannappa as more than just a film—it is a tribute to faith, devotion, and transformation. Vishnu Manchu, who has been passionately working on this project for over a decade, shared, “This film is incredibly close to my heart. It brings to life a historical tale that is often mistaken for mythology.” Produced by M. Mohan Babu, Kannappa is set for a grand worldwide release on April 25.
