The film Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, is set to hit screens on March 28. Directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film was originally scheduled for release in December last year but was postponed to March. According to a source, the delay occurred because the makers were not satisfied with the film’s output and decided to rework it before its release.
Although the makers initially announced December 25 as the release date and began promoting the film, they unexpectedly chose to postpone it without offering an official reason. They were under pressure to release the film by Sankranthi in January but opted against it due to the heavy competition from other films. The delay has reportedly been caused by concerns over the film’s content, leading to some patchwork and reshoots in the last couple of months.
Sreeleela plays the female lead in Robinhood and this film is expected to provide a significant break for her, especially as many of her earlier films did not perform well at the box office.
Is this the reason for Robinhood delay?
