‘BRS, BJP colluded to defeat Cong candidate in MLC polls’

Congress Party’s Karimnagar Parliament Constituency in-charge Velichala Rajender Rao on Thursday accused the BRS and BJP of having a secret pact in the Graduate MLC elections. He claimed that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) supported the BJP because of being framed in cases. He alleged that the BJP had won the elections with money power by spending crores of rupees.
Speaking to the media, Rajender Rao lashed out at KCR for entering into a secret agreement with the BJP, He was scared of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extended support to the BJP. He mentioned that the BRS and BJP had come together with malicious intent to prevent the Congress candidate from winning in the MLC elections.
Rajender Rao alleged that KCR enacted a drama to escape from the cases and stated that the wrongdoings cannot go unpunished. He further stated that KCR’s support to the BJP was out of fear of Modi causing trouble for his family.
He accused the BJP leaders of spending crores of rupees in the MLC elections and stated that the party’s popularity is gradually declining as people no longer trust them. Rajender Rao also questioned what the BJP had done for unemployed people in the past 10 years and criticised the party leaders for misleading the public.
 He said that Modi was only telling fairy tales while failing to provide job opportunities for graduates and the unemployed.
He challenged BJP leaders to disclose how many jobs their government at the Centre had created.
Rajender Rao also acknowledged the efforts of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, District In-charge Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with other Ministers and leaders, for their hard work in securing Narendra Reddy’s victory.
