BJP emerging as alternative to Cong: Kishan

Must read

Union Minister Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy celebrated the party’s victory in MLC elections, stating that the results reflect the growing public support for the BJP in Telangana.
Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters in Hyderabad, he declared that people have begun rejecting the Congress Government and that the BJP would intensify its efforts to hold the ruling party accountable.
Kishan asserted that the BJP’s electoral gains were a victory for Telangana’s teachers, graduates and intellectuals, who are disillusioned with the Congress government’s performance. “This success increases our responsibility. The BJP will challenge the Congress government at all steps and ensure that public issues are addressed,” he stated.
The Union Minister also accused the BRS of indirectly aiding BJP’s victory, pointing out that the party chose not to field a candidate despite having 22 MLAs in the region.
He alleged that the BRS and the Congress have been working together, with secret political agreements benefiting both parties. “This is not the first time. Their hid alliance was evident even in the last parliament elections, when the BRS indirectly helped the BJP win eight seats,” he claimed.
Emphasizing the BJP’s growing strength, Kishan stated that 37% of voters backed the party, making it clear that BJP is emerging as the only alternative to the Congress in Telangana.
He criticised the ruling party for failing to fulfil its pre-election promises despite being in power for over 14 months. “Instead of implementing their commitments, they are engaging in blame games and diversion tactics. But the people are watching,” he remarked.
Kishan also questioned the lack of major Central projects for Hyderabad under Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s previous tenure in tourism and archaeology and asked why Congress had not taken proactive steps to secure investments and infrastructure projects. He insisted that the Modi government would deliver what Congress failed to achieve in Telangana.
He revealed that the BJP is strengthening its grassroots network and will soon launch state-wide campaigns to address key issues, including teachers’ concerns in employment and failures. “We are not just celebrating a win; we are preparing for a bigger fight. Telangana needs a strong alternative, and the BJP will stand with the people in every struggle,” he said.

Dismissing Congress’s claims of a referendum, Kishan Reddy said the ruling party must introspect instead of making excuses. “The public has already begun rejecting the Congress, and they will continue to do so. Telangana, like other states, will give them a return gift in the elections,” he remarked.
With the BJP securing a stronger foothold in the state, Kishan assured that the party would continue to expose the Congress government’s failures and fight for the rights of Telangana’s people under Prime MBJP emerging as the only alternative to the Congress led by Kishan Reddy
