Must read

The policy of Minister for Education, Information technology (IT) and Electronics Nara Lokesh is that poverty is not a hindrance for talent. The Minister has been extending a helping hand to various students who gathered at Praja Darbar from all corners of State.
Now, Lokesh has stood solidly by two efficient girls by extending financial assistance to them. The girls have been selected for the Youth Exchange Programme being held in the United States of America. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu gave the girls Rs 1 lakh each and a laptop. The girls, Bandila Suryateja Sri of Jangareddygudem from the Medical Academy of the Dr BR Ambedkar Gurukula IIT at Edupugallu and Natta Pradeepthi from Rajahmundry, are pursuing their Intermediate. While thousands of students from the country competed for the Youth Exchange Programme — a year-long study tour in the US basically on the culture and traditions of developed nations — only 30 students from the country, including these two, were selected.
During the Praja Darbar held on Tuesday, Tejasri’s mother submitted a memorandum to Lokesh with an appeal to help them. Subsequently, Lokesh asked both the girls to come to the State Secretariat on Wednesday. Besides congratulating them on their selection to the prestigious programme, financial help was extended to them. The Chief Minister told the girls to tell the whole world about Indian culture and traditions through the Youth Exchange Programme. He added that the State government will always encourage talent.
Surya Tejasri said that she wants to become an IAS officer to serve the nation and that she considers Chandrababu and Lokesh as inspiration. She also thanked the State government, the Chief Minister and the Minister for Education.
