Warangal’s BRS leaders discussed plans for organizing the event and received suggestions from KCR at a meeting held at Erravelli.
BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Council Floor Leader Madhusudhan Chari, MLCs Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, former ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Tatikonda Rajaiah, Satyavati Rathod, former MP Maloth Kavitha, former MLAs Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, Challa Dharma Reddy, D.S. Redya Naik, Shankar Naik, Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy, Nannapuneni Narender, district president Lakshman Rao, Gandra Jyothi, Nagajyothi, former MP J. Santosh Kumar, former MLA A. Jeevan Reddy,
state general secretary G. Balamallu, and senior leader Vamsidhar Rao and others attended the meeting.

The leaders recalled that Warangal has a legacy of hosting massive rallies during the Telangana Movement under KCR’s leadership and said that they are fully prepared to organize the Silver Jubilee meeting.

They said preparations are already underway at Elkathurthy near Warangal, where 1,213 acres are being readied for the event. Of this, 154 acres will be exclusively used for the meeting, while 1,059 acres have been earmarked for parking, with a capacity of around 50,000 vehicles.

Describing the Silver Jubilee meeting as one-of-its-kind, the leaders said that detailed arrangements are being made to ensure hassle-free participation for lakhs of attendees, including BRS workers, KCR supporters and Telangana activists.

They said that around 10 lakh buttermilk packets and 10 lakh water bottles would be arranged for the gathering. Around 1,500 volunteers will be deployed to manage traffic and control crowds, along with emergency medical services and ambulances.

The Warangal BRS leaders reiterated that they will hold the Silver Jubilee meeting with the same passion as the historic ‘Viswaroopa Maha Sabha’ held during the Telangana Movement. They recalled the contributions of legendary figures like Kaloji Narayana Rao and Professor Jayashankar, who inspired the region’s socio-political consciousness.

Highlighting the achievements of KCR’s rule, the leaders pointed out that Telangana witnessed unparalleled development and welfare schemes during the first 10 years of statehood.

They said that projects like the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, Devadula, Sammakka Barrage, and Mission Kakatiya increased the state’s irrigation capacity.

They emphasized that Warangal emerged as a major centre through projects like the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, a 24-floor multi-specialty hospital matching Hyderabad’s standards, smart city development, the recognition of Ramappa Temple as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the establishment of the Kaloji Kala Kendra.

They also recalled administrative reforms like the creation of six districts out of the erstwhile Warangal district, the formation of the Warangal Police Commissionerate and numerous rural development programmes.

They asserted that the transformation of Warangal into a city competing with Hyderabad in infrastructure and development became possible only through KCR’s leadership.

The leaders vowed to work hard to bring back KCR as the Chief Minister, asserting that Telangana needs his leadership to restore the momentum of farmer welfare and development.

They also pledged to deliver all the 12 Assembly constituencies in the erstwhile Warangal district to the BRS in the next elections, whenever they are held, as a gift to the party chief.
