Must read

Aadi Sai Kumar is back after a brief hiatus with his upcoming film Shanmukha. “After nearly a one-and-a-half-year gap, my film Shanmukha is finally releasing on March 21,” he shared. Aadi expressed his excitement about the project, particularly highlighting the contribution of renowned music composer Ravi Basrur, known for his work in KGF and Salaar. “He has taken this film to the next level,” Aadi remarked. He also revealed that the film’s digital, satellite and theatrical rights have been sold ahead of its release.
Giving credit to the film’s director and producer, Shanmugam Sappani, Aadi acknowledged his relentless hard work. “He is the one who convinced Ravi Basrur to compose the music, thanks to his rapport with the music director,” Aadi said. The film stars Avika Gor as the female lead. “She has been a child artiste for years and it was a pleasure working with her. I would love to collaborate with her on more projects in the future,” he added. Aadi’s father, Sai Kumar, is widely recognised for his iconic police roles, particularly the character Agni. “I never try to imitate my father, but I was fortunate to play a police officer in this film and in my next one as well,” he shared. He also revealed that Shanmukha has a mythological touch toward the end, along with some horror elements.
Avika Gor, speaking about the project, described it as a special film in her career. “I am eagerly waiting for the release. Doing a devotional film has been an exciting experience. I got to play a dream role that every artist wishes for. Aadi is a fantastic co-actor, and working with Ravi Basrur was a dream come true,” she said.
Director-producer Shanmugam added, “The Hindi digital and theatrical rights for other states have already been sold. Aadi plays a powerful police officer and we have crafted the film with stunning visuals and exceptional graphics.”
