Must read

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Bommala Srinivasa Raju, Assistant Registrar and Arbitrator at the Office of Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Medchal\Malkajgiri district, for accepting a bribe of Rs 1,00,000 to be favorable in previous cases filed.
Srinivasa Raju was caught red-handed by the ACB while accepting the bribe from a complainant. The bribe was allegedly demanded in exchange for favourable action in cases filed by Navabharat Co-operative Urban Bank Limited, Hyderabad, against the complainant’s family members and a friend.
Following the arrest, the ACB recovered the bribe amount from Srinivasa Raju. A chemical test on the contact portion of the car’s dashboard, where the bribe money was hidden, yielded positive results, confirming the bribery act.
Srinivasa Raju has been charged with performing his public duties improperly and dishonestly.

He will be produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.
