Also, the ACB Court stated that the SIT, which is investigating this case, has no authority under law. Also, the ACB Court said that BL Santosh, Srinivas and Jagguswamy cannot be considered as accused.
The SIT approached the High Court against the judgment of the ACB Court. A lunch motion petition was filed in the High Court stating that the ACB Court went beyond its jurisdiction and ignored the inclusions of the police. The Court asked SIT to issue notices to the accused lawyers and postponed the hearing for Thursday.
Arguments were made in the Telangana High Court regarding the leaking of the counter filed by the SIT in the MLAs poaching case. The counsel for the petitioner questioned how the SIT report, which was supposed to be kept secret, came out.The additional advocate general said that copies of the SIT counter had been given to the petitioners and their counsel.
The additional advocate general informed that the media leak was by the petitioners who had given it to a political party. It is believed that a copy was given to MLA Rohit Reddy, who is the complainant, and it may have reached the Chief Minister through him.The AAG informed the High Court that CV Anand released the press release on the same day that the counter copy did not come out through the SIT.
