The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, said that the Pahalgam incident represents the ultimate in terrorist brutality. He warned that those who wield guns will eventually fall to guns. Declaring that the Modi government is committed to eradicating terrorism, he said that the Centre is preparing to take strong actions that will shake Pakistan to its core.

He added that the Modi government is about to take tough decisions and called upon the nation to support the Centre. Speaking at the ‘Rozgar Mela’ event held on Saturday at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre in Hyderabad, Sanjay was joined by GST Chief Commissioners Sandeep Prakash, V. Sampoorna, and others.

“Prime Minister Modi holds the Rozgar Mela programme close to his heart. He is a leader who stood by his word to create one million jobs. The Rozgar Mela, which began on October 22, 2022, continues to this day. So far, 14 Rozgar Melas have been conducted, resulting in the filling of 9,25,000 posts,” he said.

“Through Saturday’s 15th Rozgar Mela, 51,000 posts are being filled across the country, bringing the total close to the one million mark. Filling so many posts within a stipulated time frame without room for corruption or error is no small feat, and that credit goes to the Modi Government. When vacancies exist in government departments, the burden falls on existing employees, making it hard to provide services in remote areas. Keeping this in mind, under PM Modi’s leadership, vacancies in departments are being filled promptly. No government in the past has regularly filled vacant posts like this,” Sanjay said.

“Today, the Rozgar Mela is being held in 47 centres across the country, and appointment letters are being issued to 51,000 candidates. In our state, it is being conducted in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Around 700 candidates are receiving appointment letters from the MCHRD centre, and I am happy to hand over letters to 100 of them. Congratulations to all the candidates receiving appointment letters. There was intense competition for each post. So, hats off to all of you who succeeded,” he said.

Having secured a job through hard work and study, now it is your responsibility to do your duties with commitment. Stay up to date with new technologies and changes in your work, and keep learning. You know that Modi is determined to create jobs, which is why we were able to fill one million posts. This is a government that delivers on its promises. In the past, no government systematically filled vacancies like this, and again, the credit goes to Modi, Sanjay said.

“Initiatives like Start-up India, Stand-up India, and Make in India are encouraging youth to not only take up jobs, but also create jobs. During the pandemic, when countries like the US faced economic crises, India remained stable because of the Atmanirbhar package, a feat accomplished by the Modi government,” he said.
