Adah Sharma reflects on being paired with a stuffed animal

Must read

Actress Adah Sharma seems to not be rushing when it comes to choosing projects. Now, she is back with Sunflower Season 2, a crime comedy also starring Sunil Grover. She conversed with The Pioneer about the project, her role, and more.
The captivating trailer for the upcoming season of the crime comedy Sunflower Season 2 provides an enticing look into the fascinating world of Sunflower, a Mumbai middle-class housing community full of eccentric individuals.
Returning to the role of the mysterious Sonu Singh, Sunil Grover brings humour and intrigue to the already outstanding cast. Adah Sharma brings her charm as Rosie Mehta! Adah exclusively told us in the Zoom interview that Sunflower Season 2 has a lot of layered characters to it. “My character Rosie is just an addition to it. This allowed us to see how Rosie is giving the character more depth. She is coupled with Raj! As the trailer was released, I appeared in the climax scene right before it ended. That’s when someone starts to wonder what Adah is up to! I think the most intriguing scene of the entire season is the one with the stuffed animal in my hands, as shown in the trailer. There was a lot of room for me to make humour in the series since I had to be both sweet and menacing at the same time. It was amazing to be leading such a powerful part as an actress.”
The fact that Rosie is a fascinating bar dancer and the heir to Kapoor’s penthouse throws further doubt on the situation and that is what’s interesting to look out for. Our Tollywood star went on to say, “It was liberating to perform every emotion. It’s new for all of us that someone has been matched opposite a stuffed animal in their introduction sequence, I believe. Almost everything said by my character is startling! Because my conversations are so clever. When the scenes would often end, I often question if I was acting in a good or bad way. I was viewed as a college-bound girl across the nation a few months ago, but now I’ve been cast as a bar dancer. The course is undergoing modification.”
Rosie is a bright and enigmatic person. She may be quite lovely, but she’s the nightmare of every man. When Rosie moves into Sunflower society, everything is turned upside down for everyone! Speaking more about her role, the Kalki fame stated, “I am definitely making the characters’ lives a lot tougher; this is what makes the season even more compelling to watch. It’s true that I viewed documentaries about serial killers to learn why people do what they do in order to improve my performance. I wanted to know how some people thought.”
Additionally, “I play somebody who is always on a quest. In one scene, I’m supposed to use a sledgehammer to smash down walls, but I had no idea how to use one. However, it also needed to seem really realistic! ‘’d like to think that, in real life, I’m not like Rosie. For instance, I have a lot of buried sarcasm, but I don’t let it show on real people the way the character does—she’s a huge sarcastic!”
Adah thinks it’s a huge deal to be joining the cast of Sunflower, which has already amassed a sizable fan base. She adds, “I got to do scenes in a lot of other languages this season because Rosie is multilingual as well, which is another interesting aspect. I’m excited for my fans to see a moment in which I have to use the restroom to express my feelings (she laughed aloud). My technical team exclaimed, ‘What a psycho character!’ as soon as I wrapped up that sequence on the sets. You might be surprised to learn that actual blood was utilised on the sets! No other show has ever attempted this. I haven’t seen any directors combine the criminal comedy genres together either. I’m involved because this is unique among its sort. I enjoy seizing unique opportunities!”
