After the much-anticipated release of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun was set to collaborate once again with director Trivikram Srinivas. Reports suggest that their film has a mythological touch, revolving around Lord Subramanya Swamy. Though officially announced long ago, the project has been delayed due to Arjun’s commitments to Pushpa 3 and Trivikram’s post-Guntur Kaaram developments.
Latest reports indicate that the Allu Arjun-Trivikram film may not commence this year. Instead, Arjun is considering working with Tamil director Atlee for his next project. Discussions regarding the budget are still ongoing, as the film is expected to be a high-budget venture.
After the unprecedented success of Pushpa 2, especially in the Hindi market, Arjun is under pressure to maintain the momentum. Since Pushpa 2 did not perform as expected in Telugu and other South Indian languages, but dominated in the Hindi belt, his next project needs to cater to a pan-India audience. Atlee is reportedly preparing a story that aligns with this vision.
Given the mythological aspects of Trivikram’s script, Arjun feels it would require significant time to execute. Hence, he prefers to take on Atlee’s project first. An official announcement regarding this collaboration is expected soon, according to sources.
After Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun prioritises Atlee over Trivikram?
