AI integrated student GPT tool launched for CA aspirants

Highlighting that the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) being a helpful tool for chartered accountants, which will not replace human manpower, AI-integrated Student GPT tool system for CA aspirants has been launched for free. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducted the AI Innovation Summit -AIS 2024 at Shilpakala Vedika in the city on Tuesday. It would conclude on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media, president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, stated that the AI-integrated CA GPT will assist in exam preparation by providing comprehensive study materials on a single platform. The GPT tool will be provided free to all 9.85 lakh students.
The integration of AI in areas like finance, education, and healthcare represents significant progress, positioning India as a global leader in this technology. With the world’s largest tech-savvy population, our youth must acquire AI proficiency. AI’s capability to translate audit reports into local languages exemplifies its transformative potential in enhancing accessibility and understanding, Ranjeet added.
Ranjeet also mentioned that an audit tool for the industry will be designed soon, in collaboration with the government, where ICAI will meet to decide next month. This tool aims to be completely foolproof and applicable to the entire industry.
He further stated that the government is working on an indegenous LLM model with fraud detection. Highlighting that the CA course has gained global recognition and many Chartered Accountants are contributing globally as CFOs, Ranjeet mentioned that the institute produces between 25,000 to 30,000 students.
He informed that completing the CA degree takes 4.5 years after plus 2, with affordable fees of Rs 75,000 at the ICAI institute.
