On behalf of the Akanksha Foundation, member of the foundation and donor Davuluri Jagadish Aravinda Sawarkar came forward to provide a financial assistance of Rs.1 lakh to a student, Neelam Naga Mukhesh hailing from Gudivada, to undergo NEET coaching. He paid Rs.50,000 as the first-term fee to Unacademy in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

Neelam Naga Mukhesh is studying BiPC senior intermediate at the Srinivasa Gravity Junior College in Vijayawada. He secured 414 marks out of 440 in junior intermediate.

He was more interested in studying MBBS, but was not in a financial position to take NEET coaching. The bright student’s father is working as a watchman and his mother is a domestic worker. They are striving hard to provide better education for their son to see him as a doctor. That is why Akanksha Foundation, situated at Ajith Singh Nagar, came forward to support him financially.

On behalf of the foundation, member Sawarkar announced that they would pay the expenses for the NEET coaching. He directly approached Unacademy coaching centre and paid Rs.50,000 as the first instalment.

He said that Naga Mukhesh was a bright student and was aiming to become a doctor after completion of the intermediate course. His foundation is helping the poor who have merit in education, he added.
