Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil Akkineni tied the knot in the early morning of Friday. He started a new chapter in his life as he married his longtime girlfriend, Zainab Ravdjee, at a ceremony in Hyderabad. Both Akhil and Zainab have been in a relationship for the past three years and got engaged last year on November 26. On Friday, the wedding ceremony took place following traditional Hindu rituals. Many of Nagarjuna’s close friends and relatives attended the wedding.
The wedding took place at Akkineni Nagarjuna’s residence and some of Nagarjuna’s close friends from the industry, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Prashanth Neel, were present for the wedding. The entire wedding ceremony was a low-key affair, as Nagarjuna is arranging a grand reception on June 8 at his Annapurna Studios. Many film and other celebrities are expected to attend the reception in a big way, says the source.
