Akhil Akkineni’s next with Krithi Shetty

After the failure of Agent, Akhil Akkineni has not signed any new films and has remained inactive throughout 2024. He had a few days back, announced his engagement to girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee. Now on the professional front, according to sources, director Murali Kishor Abburu is set to direct Akhil in his upcoming film.
Abburu previously directed Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha with Kiran Abbavaram. Reports suggest that the new film will begin shooting on December 17.
The makers have roped in Krithi Shetty as the female lead for this project. Despite her successful debut in Uppena, Krithi has struggled to achieve consistent box-office success. Her most recent film, ARM, opposite Tovino Thomas, released in multiple languages but failed to perform well commercially.
Paired opposite Akhil Akkineni for the first time, Krithi is reportedly looking forward to this collaboration. “Director Kishor Abburu has crafted a strong script that offers significant roles for both Akhil and Krithi,” said a source.
The film will be produced by Annapurna Studios, Akhil’s family production house. Fans eagerly await this pairing and the new chapter in Akhil’s career.
