The promotions for the much-awaited film ‘Kannappa’ is now going aggressively. Vishnu Manchu, playing the protagonist of Kannappa and is also producer of the film, recently started promotions in Bengaluru and Chennai. Now, it’s Monday, so the makers unveiled another look from the film, and this time it is none other than the Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is playing the role of Lord Shiva in it.
In ‘Kannappa’, Lord Shiva emerges as a divine force, embodying strength, serenity and with a deep sense of devotion. He is depicted as the supreme deity who governs the three realms, surrendering himself to the purest form of devotion.
The first look poster features Akshay Kumar in the iconic Shiva Thandavam posture, holding a Trishul in one hand and a Damarukam in the other. His intense expression and commanding presence exude the divine energy of Lord Shiva, further amplifying the film’s mystic and powerful aura.
With such a captivating portrayal of Lord Shiva, Kannappa promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience. Apart from Manchu Vishnu and Akshay Kumar, some of the icons like Mohan Babu, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar are also there. Kajal Aggarwal plays the role of Parvathi, while Preity Mukundhan is Kannappa’s love interest. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu Manchu, Kannappa is poised to deliver a high-octane, visually stunning epic, complete with breathtaking action and effects. The film is releasing on April 25, 2025.
