Former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s close friend, former MLC Magam Ranga Reddy, former MLA Akula Rajender, and former DCCB chairmen, Laxma Reddy and Jaipal Reddy, joined the BJP in the presence of Telangana BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh, Telangana BJP election in-charge Prakash Javadekar and the Telangana BJP President, G. Kishan Reddy, on Saturday at New Delhi. BJP leaders welcomed Ranga Reddy, Rajender, Laxma Reddy and Jaipal Reddy by offering them the party kanduva. BJP leaders DK Aruna, Dr K. Laxman, and Eatala Rajender were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Chugh said that the people of Telangana have lost faith in the Congress and that Congress leaders joined the BRS after winning elections deceiving the people who had voted for them.
Chugh said that he was confident that the BJP will come to power in 2023 and that the BJP will free Telangana from the arrogant dictatorship of a family.
He said that the BJP will continue to fight in Telangana on behalf of the farmers and the poor. Leaders from other parties are joining the BJP, he said.
