Must read

Actress Alaya F has once again made it that crystal clear that she’s not here to play a certain role. Our graceful actress will next be seen in Zee5 Originals U-Turn.
Recently, as the trailer was released, it was clear that the film is going to be a supernatural thriller that revolves around motorists who take a U-turn illegally and don’t realise that this U-Turn can change the course of their life.

The trailer depicts the journey of Radhika essayed by Alaya F, who is a dedicated intern working for a local newspaper. In the film she investigates multiple accidents that occur at a particular flyover. After concluding that motorists taking a U-turn are the root cause for this, she starts dealing with motorists personally and addresses this issue. However, her investigation takes a dark turn when one of the U-turn riders is found dead and she becomes the prime suspect.

Now, the actress exclusively opens up with us about her character Radhika Bakshi, and how relatable it is to her in real-life.
“Radhika has many layers, there is a lot going on with her,” she says adding, “She is a strong and brave character; She is curious, inquisitive, emotionally driven and has a back story too. There’s a lot that goes on with her character and as an actor it is really satisfying to be able to understand, then portray and play a character like her. It’s a great character to play.”

Having grown up she shared that she has seen so many settings where if something goes wrong, her mother has always voiced it or fought it and really acts on everything she says. And,thus Alaya feels her character is very much relatable to Radhika, as she too reports the wrongs and investigates around it. She further continues, “I don’t come from a family of people that talk and not act. Everyone in my family practices what they preach. If they have an opinion, a strong opinion, they act towards that. This is the way I have been raised to always stand by right and fight what is wrong. I follow those footsteps; I believe in speaking and acting towards it.”
