Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that ensuring 100 percent saturation of the Central government schemes is the key objective of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’. She mentioned that the Prime Minister is committed to guaranteeing the delivery of benefits for all Central government schemes. She urged eligible individuals who were not enrolled to register themselves at the stalls installed at the venue.
Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in the Prime Minister’s live event of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Rayanapadu village of Vijayawada Rural mandal in the NTR District on Saturday. Later, the Union Finance Minister visited various stalls on schemes such as ‘Ayushman Bharat’, ‘PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana’, ‘PM Awas Yojana’, ‘PM Ujjwala Yojana’, ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’, and others.
As part of the programme, the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ pledge was administered, and beneficiaries expressed their happiness on receiving Government of India schemes like ‘PM Ujjwala Yojana’ and PMEGP. Free cylinders and stoves were distributed, and Ayushmann Bharat cards were also issued.
Nirmala said that the people themselves are the ambassadors of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ programme, a nationwide initiative designed to raise awareness among the population about the various schemes provided by the Central government, she said. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits they are entitled to, she added. Minister Nirmala also mentioned that no one would be left behind by the scheme.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to position India as the most developed country by 2047. For that, he is striving hard to reach his goal. For every poor person’s development and to provide all facilities and for that, the Central government framed policies and schemes,” Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.
Meanwhile, she said that if a scheme has 100 beneficiaries, which should benefit all 100 people is the main aim of the ‘Viksit Sankalp Yatra’. She emphasised the importance of the ‘Modi Guarantee Van,’ which is visiting every village to ensure that every beneficiary is informed about the schemes. The central government is making efforts to raise awareness about 17 schemes, including ‘Ayushman Bharat’, ‘PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana’, ‘PM Awas Yojana’, and ‘PM Kisan’. This was disclosed by Sitharaman.
The Minister for Home and Disaster Management and NTR district in charge, Taneti Vanitha, stated that both the central and state governments have implemented several schemes for the welfare of the people.
