Director Sukumar made his debut with Arya, starring Allu Arjun and Anu Mehta, and produced by Dil Raju. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film was released on May 7, 2004 and has now completed 21 years. It marked a turning point in Allu Arjun’s career. Although he debuted with Gangotri, Arya was his second film as lead, showcasing a striking transformation in his style and physicality.
