Ambati steals the show at Sankranti celebrations

The vibrant festivities of Sankranti took an electrifying turn as Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu showcased his rhythmic prowess during the Bhogi celebrations on Sunday. The Minister led a spirited group of tribal women and enthusiastic youngsters, grooving to the beats of popular Tollywood numbers. Bedecked in a casual T-shirt, Rambabu’s spirited dance moves echoed through the air, drawing cheers from his ardent supporters.
Amid the flickering flames of the Bhogi fire, marking the commencement of the three day Sankranti festival, the Minister’s lively performance added a touch of exuberance to the festivities. This isn’t the first time the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader has captivated audiences with his dance moves. Last year, his Sankranti dance became a viral sensation on social media.
Interestingly, the steps performed by Rambabu found their way into the limelight
when actor Prudhvi Raj replicated them in actor-politician Pawan Kalyan’s supernatural
fantasy film ‘Bro.’ Portraying the character Shyambabu in the movie, Prudhvi Raj imitated the minister’s dance sequence. This act, however, didn’t sit well with Rambabu, who accused Pawan Kalyan of intentionally mocking and demeaning him throughout the film.
Fuming over the perceived insult, Rambabu had strongly criticised his political rival, Pawan Kalyan. He alleged that the role and dance sequence were deliberately designed to belittle him. In response, the YSRCP leader even went on to announce his intention to make films on Pawan Kalyan.
