Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Hyderabad on July 29 and will attend the day-long meetings of the BJP along with Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy and other BJP leaders.
It is learnt that Amit Shah informed this to Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy when he met him on Monday in New Delhi.
It may be recalled that the Khammam public meeting has been postponed once again. It is learnt that Amit Shah is coming to Hyderabad to raise the morale of the BJP in Telangana.
Earlier in the day, former Telangana BJP President Karimnagar MP Sanjay met Amit Shah at the latter’s office. It is learnt that Sanjay explained the developments taking place in Telangana. He requested Amit Shah to withdraw the suspension of Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh, it is learnt.
It is also learnt that Sanjay told Amit Shah that the party is keeping his group of leaders aside. He requested Amit Shah to recognise the services of these leaders for the party when he was president.
Responding to Sanjay’s appeal, Amit Shah asked Sanjay to concentrate on strengthening the party and not to speak in front of the media about internal issues, it is learnt.
However, Amit Shah reacted to his meeting with Sanjay through Twitter. In his tweet, Amit Shah said, “Met @bandisanjay_bjp Ji and discussed various issues about Telangana.”
Sanjay re-tweeted Amit Shah’s tweet saying, “Always a pleasure to meet the Chanakya of Indian politics Shri@AmitShah ji, the Home Minister. Under your able guidance, I will work to strengthen @BJP4India in Telangana and strive to bring the party to power in the state.”
