Anandhi’s Garividi Lakshmi inspired by real-life

Telugu girl and actress Anandhi has made her mark both in Telugu and Tamil films. She is known for her powerful performance in films like Poriyaalan, Kayal and many other Tamil films. She was last seen in Itlu Maredumilli Prajaaneekam and Vidhi. Now, the actress’s new film was launched in style, not in Hyderabad, but in Adoni, in Andhra Pradesh. She brings depth to her characters, is set to deliver another impactful portrayal in this film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and TG Krithi Prasad. The title is also interesting. Gowri Naidu Jammu is the director.
The ceremony saw the presence of actors from the film  including Anandhi, VK Naresh, Rag Mayur present for the launch. The film portrays the inspiring story of the iconic Burra Katha artist Garividi Lakshmi from North Andhra and tackles the theme of women’s identity theft. The shooting is scheduled to commence in the third week of January in Adoni.
TG Krithi Prasad, the daughter of renowned producer TG Vishwa Prasad, is making her debut as a producer with this film.
