Anupam Kher Joins Prabhas’ Military Drama with Hanu Raghavapudi

Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher has become a familiar face in Telugu cinema. Having previously appeared in films like Karthikeya 2 and Tiger Nageswara Rao, he is now playing a key role in The India House, starring Nikhil. Adding to his impressive lineup, Kher has now joined the upcoming film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, featuring Prabhas in the lead.
The actor shared the news on his social media, posting pictures with Prabhas and other team members. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is set against a military backdrop. While the official title has not been announced, sources suggest that the makers are considering Fauji as the title.
Anupam Kher also revealed that this project marks his 544th film, further cementing his status as one of India’s most prolific actors. The National Award-winning actor will be seen in a significant role, alongside debutante Imanvi, who is making her Telugu cinema debut as the female lead.
Adding to the film’s star power, veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada will also play pivotal roles. Set in the 1940s, the story revolves around a man’s struggle for his motherland and his people against British rule. Although the film is historically inspired, it is a work of fiction.
