Anupama Parameshwaran’s year has been a mixed bag, with her film Tillu Square achieving blockbuster success alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda, despite her character taking a negative turn towards the end. On the other hand, her film Eagle with Ravi Teja as the lead actor, failed to impress at the box office.
Although Anupama originated from the Malayalam film industry, she has focused more on Telugu and Tamil projects in recent years. However, she seems to be revisiting her Malayalam roots, with several films in the pipeline, including Janakai Vs State of Kerala (JSK), slated for release in February.
In JSK, Anupama plays the role of Janaki, with Suresh Gopi starring as her lawyer. The film, directed by Praveen Narayana and produced by J Phanindra Kumar, is an intense courtroom drama based on a real-life incident.
The story revolves around Janaki’s fight for justice in the face of courtroom injustice.
