The Vijayawada ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) Court has granted two-day custody of four accused in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case to the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
The accused — Dhanunjaya Reddy, Krishna Mohan Reddy, Govindappa Balaji, and Raj Kesireddy — will be interrogated by the SIT on 30 and 31 May, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day.
The court directed that the interrogation must take place in the presence of a legal representative. The SIT had filed petitions seeking custody to investigate the individuals’ alleged involvement in the liquor scam that reportedly took place during the previous administration.
