The people of Andhra Pradesh are open to giving BJP a chance, according to BJP AP unit president Somu Veerraju. He expressed his views on the prevailing political uncertainty in the State and highlighted the growing support for the party during the public meetings organised across the State.

Veerraju emphasised the need for a “double engine sarkar” to address the challenges faced by the State government.

Crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his nine years of good governance and service to the people of India, Somu Veerraju outlined the various welfare schemes introduced by the BJP government. He further mentioned that these programmes have garnered positive responses from the public. The discontent with the current YSRCP government was observed among the people, as evidenced by the successful public meetings conducted in different parts of the state. Additionally, upcoming meetings in Ongole, Chittor, and Nandyal were announced.

To further engage with intellectuals and business people, BJP AP Unit has conducted 26 meetings and distributed pamphlets and booklets outlining PM Modi’s achievements during his nine-year tenure. The visit of four central ministers and ten central leaders to the state reflects the changing trend in Andhra Pradesh, with the party’s symbol, the lotus, gaining prominence. However, Veerraju expressed his disappointment over the State government claiming BJP’s schemes as their own, reiterating that it is evident that the benefits of Modi’s good governance and welfare schemes are visible in the State.
