On the second day of his official visit to Gujarat, Minister Narayana and his delegation continued their study tour, focusing on solid waste management and the development of sports infrastructure.

In the morning, the team visited the Jindal Solid Waste Management Plant at Gyaspur. The minister and accompanying officials observed the innovative processes at the facility, where electricity and paver blocks are generated from solid waste.

Plant officials briefed the delegation on daily operations and the methods employed to process large volumes of waste received at the plant.

Later, the team visited the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Officials from the Gujarat Sports Department presented insights into the rapid construction of the world-class stadium, which was completed in just nine months, highlighting the state’s capabilities in swift infrastructure development. Impressed by the visit, Minister Narayana said the Andhra Pradesh government aims to build a large-scale cricket stadium as part of the proposed Sports City in Amaravati. He emphasised the need for similar state-of-the-art sports facilities in the capital region.

Following the visit, the minister and his team returned to Vijayawada, marking the conclusion of their successful study tour in Gujarat.
