The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) have come to an understanding on handing over Indira Bhavan to the TPCC. The APCC gave permission to the TPCC to use the building till the elections are over. The TPCC has been requesting APCC to give the entire building to the Telangana Congress unit, but the APCC has not accepted it since the formation of Telangana state.The Telangana Congress in-charge entered the scene and called APCC President Gidugu Rudra Raju for permission to use Indira Bhavan till the elections are over. Rudra Raju accepted it. The TPCC will take over the building on Friday.
The TPCC is going to set up a ‘War Room’ for the Assembly as well as Lok Sabha elections. Former IAS officer Sasikanth Senthil Kumar will head the War Room being set up at the Indira Bhavan on the premises of the Gandhi Bhavan.
