The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) camp office was inaugurated by APERC Chairman Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy on the APEPDCL headquarters premises in Visakhapatnam on Friday. APERC members Thakur Ram Singh, P Venkatrama Reddy and APEPDCL CMD Prithvithej Immadi took part in the programme.
On the occasion, Chairman Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy said that the camp office of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Board had been set up to ensure that the electricity consumers of Uttarandhra and both Godavari districts avail of the services. He also mentioned that along with enquiries related to the commission, necessary meetings would also be held in this camp office to take appropriate measures to solve the problems of consumers. As a part of this, APERC will hold an enquiry programme in the camp office on Saturday morning, on the fifth and sixth control period related to the Resource and Investment Plan submitted by APTransco and AP Discoms.
