Must read

Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee-Amaravati (APJAC-Amaravati) Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu has urged the state government to implement a comprehensive Human Resource (HR) policy for all contract and outsourcing employees working in various government departments.
He noted that outsourcing employees faced significant losses due to decisions taken under the 11th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).
The APJAC-Amaravati-affiliated Contract and Outsourcing Employees Association’s state committee meeting was held at the AP Revenue Bhavan in Vijayawada on Sunday. The state executive council, along with all 26 district presidents and secretaries, attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkateswarlu highlighted that employees under organisations like MEPMA (Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas) and SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) have benefitted from structured HR policies. He demanded similar policies for outsourcing employees across all departments.
He also emphasised the need for annual increments based on seniority to ensure fairness and career motivation for these employees.
Venkateswarlu called on the government to address these issues promptly to prevent further dissatisfaction among the workforce.
Andhra Pradesh Contract and Outsourcing Employees Association President K Suman, APJAC-Amaravati Women’s Wing Chairperson P Lakshmi, Secretary General P Vijaya Lakshmi, Capital Unit General Secretary M Sankar, Gram/Ward Sachivalaya Employees Welfare Association President V Arlaiah and others were present.
