The APSRTC alerted the public not to trust the fake news titled “APSRTC Jobs Notification 2023″ circulating on WhatsApp and other social media platforms. The APSRTC officials here on Tuesday said that many people are receiving messages on WhatsApp stating that the jobs will be filled in RTC soon and candidates should first apply and pay some amount for it. After learning about the news, the RTC officials alerted the public and said that RTC had released no such statement and it must have been done by someone committing fraud.
The RTC recalled that in the past some people have been involved in cheating many people through fake emails and now similar types of sending such fake news messages through WhatsApp and social media platforms have been registered. The officials warned that the fake news would ask candidates to pay the fee in advance along with Aadhaar cards, Bank OTP, and frauds are being committed by suggesting that all other details should be mentioned in it. They further warned that after collecting all your details the chances of committing cyber frauds are high. The RTC officials are going to lodge a complaint regarding the fake news.
