Home Minister Taneti Vanita, MP Bharat Ram, DIG Pala Raju, and Collector Madhavi Latha inspected the arrangements being made for the visit of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Chief Minister will participate in a programme to be held in Kovvur on April 14.
Home Minister Taneti Vanitha, District In-charge Minister Venugopala Krishna, MLC and CM programme coordinator Thalashila Raghuram, district Collector Dr. K. Madhavilatha, SP Sudhir Kumar, MP Margani Bharat Ram, other public representatives and officials inspected helipad and the venue on Sunday.
On this occasion, In-charge Minister Venugopal Krishna said that he inspected Goshpada Kshetram, Satyavati Nagar, Buddudu Junction, and Yuvraj Hotel Centre. He said that a suitable helipad site for the CM’s programme has been selected at Buddhudu Junction and Sabhavedika is near Satyawati Nagar Home Minister’s Camp Office.
Later, Home Minister Thaneti Vanitha said that ‘Volunteers ku vandanam’, ‘seva puraskar’ awards would be presented to the village and ward secretariats on April 14 by the Chief Minister in the programme.
She directed the officials to complete the arrangements at the earliest for the CM’s visit. She said that over 18,000 volunteers and secretariats staff would attend the programme on the day. She told the official stop to set up 24 galleries in the venue, make arrangements for water and refreshments.
SP CH Sudhir Kumar Reddy said that elaborate security arrangements are being made at the helipad, for the roadshow, and at the venue. Arrangements are also being made to ensure that the audience would not face any problems during the meeting. Places were identified for bus parking. DIG Pala Raju, Joint Collector N Tej Bharat, DRO Narasimhulu and MLAs, and other officials were present.
