AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has hinted that his party will join hands with the Congress. He said that they had distanced themselves from UPA due to former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and that they are ready to support the Congress if the need arises.

Addressing the media after meeting Bodhan MIM leaders in Nizamabad district jail on Monday, Asaduddin said their aim is to defeat Bodhan BRS MLA Mohd. Shakil. He made it clear that they will field a MIM candidate in Bodhan and that they will soon announce the constituencies where they will contest.

Asaduddin said that it is shocking on the part of the BRS to file cases against AIMIM leaders. He said that AIMIM leaders who were in jail had worked hard day and night for Kavitha. He demanded that the BRS government launch a Muslim Bandhu scheme for the Muslims of Telangana and that he had brought the issue to the attention of KCR but there was no response.

He said the BRS government had constructed the new secretariat after demolishing mosques and he asked KCR to rebuild the mosques immediately.
