Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director VC Sajjanar said that strict action will be taken against those who are attacking RTC employees. On Wednesday, some passengers attacked conductors and drivers in various places in the State. On Thursday, he warned the people responsible for the attack on RTC staff.
Sajjanar said, “Staff is the backbone of TSRTC. They perform their duties with commitment and take millions of passengers to their destinations safely every day. They are playing a crucial role in implementing the Mahalakshmi scheme. It is not appropriate for some to insult and attack the staff”.
On Wednesday, a conductor of Bhadrachalam depot cried after passengers humiliated her. In another incident at the Nizamabad bus depot, a bus window was broken after a relative of the passenger threw a bag. The bus driver asked for money for the damages. As a consequence erupted a heated verbal war. Later, the passenger called her relatives and damaged the bus and scolded the conductor and driver.
Attacks on TSRTC staff won’t be tolerated: MD

“Abusing and attacking the staff by people is not appropriate. TSRTC management will not tolerate such incidents. Legal action will be taken against those responsible. Our officials have already lodged a complaint in the local police stations about these incidents. Police registered FIRs and started investigation,” he said.
