On December 19 they will give their demand letter to the district collectors. Next day, they will give a demand letter to RTC depot managers. On December 21 they will conduct round-table meetings with district-level people representatives. If the government will not listen to union problems we will call for Assembly seizure,” Greater Auto Union president Srinivas Mudiraj said.
Ravishankar Alluri said, “The government has promised to give Rs 1,2000 every year for every auto driver, but with this free bus service to women they are obstructing our daily income of Rs 1,000. The union has released a list of demands, which are that the government should think about using autos for their services as they are using cabs. They should rethink this service; online services should be banned and should make an app for auto services without any deduction.”
Greater Auto Union general secretary S Kishan, BPTMM State vice-president MD Habib and Secretary E Shankar attended the meeting.
