In a display of public discontent, MLAs participating in the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabutvam’, are encountering resistance and protests from citizens dissatisfied with the government’s performance. The latest incident occurred in Simhachalam, where former minister and Bheemili MLA Avanti Srinivas Rao faced a confrontation with women during the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabutvam’ programme on Saturday morning. The women obstructed Avanti, questioning his presence without addressing the longstanding land issues in five villages.
Despite the MLA’s participation in the outreach initiative, the women expressed their frustration, demanding solutions to the persistent land problems. Avanti Srinivasrao and his followers made a hasty exit, avoiding confrontation and leaving the questions unanswered. The incident unfolded in Simhachalam Vijinigiri Palem, marking another instance of public dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of local issues. The growing discontent among citizens signals the challenges faced by the YCP government in effectively addressing the concerns of the people during the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabutvam programme.
