The CBI has once again issued notices to Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy in the murder case of Vivekananda Reddy. The CBI on Saturday asked the MP to attend the inquiry on February 24 at the CBI office in Hyderabad.
Earlier, the MP attended the inquiry on January 28 and the CBI officials sent a notice to Avinash Reddy through WhatsApp asking him to attend the investigation at the Hyderabad office on 24 at 3 pm. MP Avinash Reddy too confirmed the fact that he had received notices was true.
The CBI has also issued notices to Avinash Reddy’s father YS Bhaskar Reddy in connection with this case. It has been said that he will attend the inquiry on February 23. CBI officials stated that Bhaskar Reddy should decide where he will attend the probe – Kadapa or Hyderabad.
During the first investigation, the CBI officials conducted a lengthy investigation based on the call data of Kadapa MP. On the basis of Avinash Reddy’s phone call data, the CBI officials found that on the day of Viveka’s murder, Naveen, who works in the Tadepalli office, called CM OSD Krishna Mohan Reddy’s mobiles.
Naveen and Krishna Mohan Reddy were also questioned at length by the CBI officials in Kadapa in the first week of February. Based on the information given by them, the CBI authorities have called Avinash Reddy for the second time for investigation.
