K Siva Shilpa and D Rashmitha have clinched the Boddapati Sai Lakshmi Memorial Krishna District Badminton Women’s Doubles title while JBS Badminton Academy’s K Suhaas won the boys’ under-11 championship.
Three-day Boddapati Sai Lakshmi Memorial Krishna District Badminton Championship concluded at the DRRMC Indoor Stadium in Vijayawada on Monday.
At the closing function, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) Chief Executive Office (CEO) Md Imtiyaz presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners-up. He said that students should perform their talent in sports and games besides education. Budding players should take International Shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth as inspiration, he said.
