Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni are teaming up once again for a new film — and this time, it’s a historic action spectacle. The duo previously collaborated on Veera Simha Reddy, which was declared a hit. Now, they are reuniting for their second project, officially announced by the director on social media.
The film will be produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, who is also bankrolling Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi. The announcement was accompanied by a striking poster featuring a roaring lion, half of its face armored with a metallic shield and the other half depicted in its wild, natural form — giving a symbolic hint at Balakrishna’s character in the film.
“The God of Masses is back… and this time, we’re roaring louder! Honoured to reunite with Nandamuri Balakrishna garu for our second mass celebration together — #NBK111. This one’s going to be historic!” wrote Gopichand Malineni on his social media handle.
The announcement coincides with Balakrishna’s birthday on June 10. In addition to this exciting update, fans can also expect something special from his other film Akhanda 2 — possibly a teaser. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda 2 is the sequel to the successful Akhanda and the team is currently in the midst of shooting.
