Ban on remote controlled drones from Dec 18 to 23

Cyberabad police has strictly ordered the prohibition of remote controlled drones within the Cyberabad Metropolitan Area from December 18 to 23 in view of of President of India Droupadi Murmu’s annual southern sojourn. The ban order would be implemented in the areas of Air Force Station, Hakimpet and surrounding areas.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty said that flying activities of remote controlled drones or para-gliders or remote controlled micro-light aircrafts will not be allowed over the area bound by a circle of 5 km radius at Air Force Station, Hakimpet and surrounding areas within the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Commissi onerate limits. Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under the Sections of 188, 121, 121(a), 287, 336, 337, 338 etc., of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
