Former Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar has been appointed the BJP General Secretary. BJP Vice-President DK Aruna and BJP Secretary Sathya Kumar retained their posts.
The appointment of Sanjay as the BJP General Secretary dashed his followers’ hopes that he will get a Union Ministry position.According to sources, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind or Adilabad MP Soham Bapurao may become Union Ministers in case of Modi approving it.
However, speculations are going on in BJP circles that the BJP leadership may appoint Sanjay as the in-charge of Andhra Pradesh BJP affairs as Sanjay has a sizable following in Andhra Pradesh.
