Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy said that Adilabad BJP MP Soyam Bapurao’s comments about Lambadis were his personal ones. He made it clear that the BJP has no connection whatsoever with Bapurao’s comments and said that the BJP will increase the quota for STs immediately after coming to power in Telangana. It may be recalled that Bapurao said that Adivasis will attack Lambadis as it happened in Manipur. Kishan gave his clarification on Sunday at Warangal while reacting to Bapurao’s statement fearing that it may distance Lambadas from the BJP.
