Bhatti blocking my claim for Khammam LS seat: VH

Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has launched a scathing attack on the Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday alleging that the latter is coming in the way of his contesting from Khammam on the Congress ticket.
While addressing the media at the Telangana Bhavan in Delhi on Sunday, VH alleged that Vikramarka had deceived him.
VH said, “I don’t know why Bhatti is obstructing me. First, they assured me that they would give me a Khammam ticket. However, the party leaders are ignoring me now. I am instrumental in Bhatti becoming Deputy Chief Minister. I made Bhatti the MLC. Nobody from my family is in politics. Sonia and Rahul Gandhi have to do justice to me. They are saying that I am not local. Whether Renuka Choudhary, Jalagam Vengal Rao and others were locals?. It is not proper to call me a non-local”.
He said that he has been working for the sake of the party without expecting positions in the party and hence the party has to do justice to him.
He claimed, “I will win Khammam Lok Sabha seat easily if allowed to contest as I have support from peoples’ organisations and Congress activists. BCs have been facing injustice in the Congress party. Whether the Congress party needed BCs votes are not? Whether the BCs are voting machines? Rahul Gandhi has been stating that BC Census and Jodo Nyay Yatra and Rahul Gandhi should do justice to me”.
VH said that in the recent Assembly elections in Khammam, they gave tickets to OCs in all the seats except in reserved seats and meted out injustice to the BCs. Also, the party made OC leader Renuka Choudhary s Rajya Sabha member recently.
Making it clear that he would continue in the party till his death, VH said that he has been working for the sake of the Congress party. He said that the party flag will be on his dead body after his death.
“I will not change the party. I helped many in the party. My age is not an obstacle to contest elections. I am ready to participate in a running race even now. I will not ask for a Khammam ticket if Rahul Gandhi contests from Khammam. I demand the party ticket to contest from Khammam if Rahul Gandhi will not contest from Khammam”, he said.
